General Camp Registration: Opens February 10, 2026 - Closes April 29, 2026

• Register your camper based on their 2025-2026 school year grade (the grade finished, not rising).

Refund Policy: Full refund available prior to May 29, 2026 (5pm). Fifty percent refund available until June 19, 2026 (5pm). Due to the need to plan for the successful implementation of camp, no refunds after June 19, 2026 (5pm).*

*In the event of a camp cancellation by Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital, you will receive a full refund. 

The GS Promise fund is run by GSCNC and covers the cost of camp fees for those in need. There is a quick form and no proof of income required. Please reach out to burkelakecamp@gmail.com for more information. 

If your Cadette isn't quite ready to have the added responsibility of being an AIT, they are welcome to stay in the Cadette unit. 

For example, a girl that has never attended the camp, but would like to learn more about the AIT/Aide program, or a girl who knows about the program but is not ready to take on the responsibility of a leadership position. 

We will work with them to help them achieve their future Girl Scout goals (whatever they may be) and give them the opportunity for advancement while in a lower pressure environment.
